I’ve been resisting Milo for quite some time now, with Doctors telling me it does not help my diabetic health and cholesterol situation (I’m not going to doubt Nor leave anything to chance now) ... but when it comes to pandan chiffon cake (slightly toasted too), you’d NEED a pippin’ hot cuppa Milo (with a dash of cocoa) loooor! After a week fueled by runs, belly upheavals and discomforting heartbeats, it has not exactly been a tiptop spot of health here in my #henglifesg ... and on a Sunday when I seem to be feeling better, I make myself some heart-attack worthy fried egg toast (multi-grain bread in egg with salt, equal sugar and peppercorns, fried in olive oil ... the butter as spread on after the slice had come out of the frying pan). What I really miss in my daily habits, is a cuppa tea at the end of dinner. Days before when a cuppa teh tarik with a ciggie was THE way to wrap up a day, has since been taken extremely sparingly after my Stroke, I’ll forgo the tea becoz (A) it will negate my after-meal medication, (B) I’ve been trying to avoid sugar, and I’ve also since developed a problem taking fresh milk ... but today I really miss a cuppa, so it’ll be with a touch of Equal sugar, and taking my meds a little bit later tonight ... nearly 8 years after Stroke, this is one of the few things I miss from before ... navigating a habit cultivated their years haha #henglifesgA post shared by Andy Heng (@asliceofheng) on Mar 14, 2018 at 6:01am PDT

I question my own decision to toast these cream buns for Sunday breakfast ... while toasted bread buns are always yummy, not too sure melted blueberry cream would be palatable ... It’s not “lava cake”, ya know?
