CNY 2018 Nibbles
Selection of Chinese New Year nibbles at home, with most of them being gifts from our Malay neighbours, actually! Especially fascinating are that some of them were what-i-call local family/indie-brands, which made their own labels and packaging!
In an attempt to curb my diabetes and growing girth, the Heng Fam got together to cut down on the guilty nibbles, especially pineapple tarts (OMG MY FAV) and other sweety-deliciousness ... thank good ness for our neighbours! *guiltily-patting-my-belly* ... but to be absolutely fair, mot of the CNY snacks were not as sweet as one might expect, so that's a double bonus for me personally MUAHAHAHAHA
But going on our extended family visitations the following days, I had an opportunity to deny my attempts, as folks would take offence if I did not eat their snacks when offered! *sheepish-smile*
