Saturday breakfast at local food court - Verdict: the chili has a deep spiciness (likely I spooned out a whole chunk), the gravy was uninspiring, and the taohu was sour ... at least there was grated coconut shreds (not as flavourful tho). This is seriously the grey-est plate of putumayam I have ever eaten ... Verdict: apparently everything was steamed, including the flavour less coconut shreds, less springy to the bite, soft like texture of steamed carrot cake, with a somewhat “factory-taste” (best that I can describe), that either it is literally mass-made in the factory, or maybe a bit older ...
